Every natural fur jacket or coat requires careful attention to prevent hair loss, cracking, drying and loss of sheen. Don's has an entire department dedicated to handle the specific needs of fur garments of all types. Also, Don's has a state-of-the-art temperature and humidity controlled fur storage vault for secure seasonal storage of fine furs. Professional cleaning and storage removes dust, soil, cosmetics, keeps the pelts soft and supple and restores luster prolonging your garments life.
PROPERLY STORE YOUR FURS
Don's stores your furs under climate-control conditions set at the proper temperature and relative humidity. Our storage facility is secured with heavy bank vault doors using multiple hardened steel deadbolts. Never store your furs in plastic or in a heated environment like an attic or closet near a heat source. Storage is provided on a calendar year basis. Partial year storage is not pro-rated.

Preventative Maintenance is Key
The best time time to have your fine furs stored is in the spring when you do not need the extra warmth of a fur coat. Have Don's technicians condition, clean and glaze it while it is in storage. Under no circmstance should a fur be kept in a cedar chest or closet; such conditions will dry out the pelts and severely reduce the luster of the fur.
